Women in Black is an international network of women who share a common philosophy of opposition to militarism and violence and use a similar form of demonstration.

We invite all women to join our silent vigil to protest Australia's official support for the expanding use of military warfare on the peoples of the world. Wearing the black clothing of bereavement we mourn the dead and express our opposition to all forms of violence.
